Here are the minutes from the July 14, 2015 meeting of the Highland Hospital Steering Committee—hospital and neighborhood representatives, who meet monthly about the hospital’s addition and new zoning plan. We discussed the hospital’s new website providing regular updates on construction activities, heard update on the construction project, and discussed the committee’s role in the process for developing the hospital’s new zoning plan. In addition, the hospital shared results of a recent parking study and discussed how they will be used in developing the new zoning plan. And we discussed an incident in which the construction team mistakenly damaged trees the hospital had pledged to preserve; hospital officials apologized and presented expert opinions that the trees will survive.

Thanks to Mary Staropoli for taking notes for our November 10 meeting.

We heard from the Monroe County Parks Dept and the Cornell Cooperative Extension about the plans for the Extension to move the Seneca Park, and for their current building to be taken down. Then we moved into a presentation from Highland Hospital detailing their expansion plans. Here are the full NBN Sector 6 Meeting Notes.
